We’re growing rapidly and looking for a motivated Warehouse Manager (nights) to help us continue our success!</strong></p><p><strong>In this key role, you’ll be responsible for managing the Night Newstrade&nbsp;operation of our warehouse, leading a dedicated team, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your experience in people management will help us meet deadlines, maintain quality standards, and drive operational efficiency. If you’re passionate about motivating teams, optimizing processes, and delivering exceptional service, we want you!</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>📍&nbsp;Location:</strong>&nbsp;<span><strong>InPost&nbsp;6 Abbotswell Road, Aberdeen, AB12 3AB</strong></span></p><p><strong>📅&nbsp;Shift Pattern:</strong>&nbsp;<span><strong>Tuesday - Saturday&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><strong>🕒&nbsp;Hours:</strong>&nbsp;<span><strong>0.00am - 08.30am</strong></span></p><p><strong>💰&nbsp;Salary: Dependant upon experience </strong></p><p>&nbsp;<strong><br>What you’ll be doing:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Lead with Passion: Manage and motivate your team to ensure productivity targets are met and customer deadlines are achieved.</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Forecast and Plan: Assist in the planning and forecasting of staff requirements, including rota management and annual leave planning to ensure we’re always fully staffed and ready to go.</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Optimize Operations: Ensure the Newstrade&nbsp;team productivity targets are achieved, maintaining quality standards at all times.</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Ensure Smooth Handover: Provide a comprehensive ‘hand-over report’ to the oncoming Shift Manager to maintain seamless operations.</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Create a Winning Team Culture: Ensure all new staff receive a thorough induction, and provide continuous training to both staff and contractors, enabling them to perform their roles effectively, efficiently, and safely.</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Champion Safety: Make sure that all staff have completed the necessary Health &amp; Safety training, ensuring a safe work environment for everyone.</strong></p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>What we need from you:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced Distribution or Logistics environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of operational dynamics.</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Proven success in effective people management, with a track record of motivating teams to achieve outstanding results.</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>FLT Licence &amp; Full driving licence (with "B" class) held for at least 3 years&nbsp;</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Demonstrated experience in driving and surpassing growing operational KPIs, consistently delivering measurable improvements.</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>A calm, focused approach to prioritizing daily tasks, thriving under pressure while maintaining high-quality outcomes.</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Strong problem-solving skills grounded in practical, common-sense decision-making.</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Proficient computer skills, comfortable navigating essential software and systems.</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Able to confidently meet strict deadlines, paired with excellent communication skills to engage and inspire teams.</strong></p></li><li><p></p></li></ul><p><strong>We love to reward our people for the great work they do:</strong></p><p>🪴 Build a secure future with a competitive Pension Scheme</p><p><strong>🌟</strong> Peace of mind with Life Insurance</p><p>🚴 Stay active with our Cycle2Work scheme</p><p>🤝 Get the support you need with our Employee Assistance Program<br></p><p><strong>The InPost process:</strong></p><p>We pride ourselves on our candidate experience.
