About this role
Inova Alexandria Hospital is looking for a dedicated Endoscopy Technician 2 to join the team. It's a 10 hour shifts, 4 days a week, 7am -5:30pm, with rotating overnight calls and rotating 24 calls for weekends and holidays.

Job Responsibilities:
- Inclusive of the duties and responsibilities of Endo Tech 1.
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge and practice in the role of the Endo tech.
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of anatomy and is able to anticipate he required instrumentation for each step of both basic and advanced endoscopic procedures.
- Expedites the procedure by anticipating the needs of the endoscopist.
- Demonstrates collaboration with other team members in planning/giving patient care; Actively shares knowledge with staff regarding devices/techniques and procedures.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
- Certification - Basic Life Support from AHA UPON START
- Experience - 1 year Endoscopy Technician experience. Additional Note: Leader recommendation for promotion from Endoscopy Technician 1
- Education - High School diploma or equivalent.
- Education - The Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates - Associates Program Completion UPON START
