Inova Loudoun Hospital is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 to join the team in our CT Scan Unit.
This role will be full time, Four 10-hour night shifts. Tuesday - Friday, 7:00pm-5:30am.
Candidates must be able to attend a paid 6-week training period, including eight day shift classroom training days, 8:00am-4:30pm.

Job Responsibilities
- Assists in the delivery of direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- Provides basic activities of daily living nursing care (e.g. bathing and feeding) and measurement of vital signs and intake/output.
- Demonstrates competency in all required clinical skills and technologies in accordance with Inova Health System policies and procedures.
- Completes assigned patient duties within the established time frame.
- Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development in providing care for the patient population assigned.
- Completes necessary documentation accurately and reinforces discharge teaching and home care skills.
- Communicates changes in patient status to the Registered Nurse in a timely manner.
- Partners with Registered Nurse to create a professional development plan to provide employee with the necessary skills to deliver up to date patient care.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
Shift: Nights 7:00pm-5:30am
Schedule: Four 10-hour night shifts per week. Tuesday - Friday.
Training: Candidate must be able to attend a 6-week training period, including virtual training sessions, off-site classroom training days (8:00am-4:30pm), and orientation shifts on-unit at the hospital.
Clinical Technician Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: Healthcare experience preferred.
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
- Certification: BLS within 90 days of hire (from the American Heart Association).
- Training: Candidate must be able to attend a 6 week training

What you'll do
- The Clinical Technician assists in delivering direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and performs basic nursing activities. They are responsible for completing patient duties, documenting care, and communicating patient status changes.
