Inova Physician Services - Cardiology EP is looking for a dedicated Cardiac Device Specialist to join the team. This role will be a remote Full Time Days Monday- Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Cardiac Device Specialist Job Responsibilities:
- Performs remote interrogations and device management according to established protocol under the supervision of a physician. This includes Pacemakers, ICDs, CRT devices and Implantable Loop Recorders (ILRs).
- Recognizes, documents, and reports basic abnormal functions of Pacemakers, ICDs, ILRs and CRT devices and recommends strategies to address and correct issues.
- Prepares standardized remote reports for review and interpretation.

Cardiac Device Specialist Additional Requirements:
- Certification - Certified Cardiac Device Remote Monitoring Specialist (CDRMS) from International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) within 24 months of hire
- Licensure - None required
- Experience - 1 year of clinical cardiology experience is required; basic understanding of ECG’s and arrhythmias
- Education - High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with pacemakers and/or defibulators
- Ability to read cardiac rhythms and understand base rhythm

What you'll do
- The specialist performs remote interrogations and device management for various cardiac devices, including Pacemakers, ICDs, CRT devices, and ILRs, under physician supervision. This involves recognizing, documenting, and reporting abnormal device functions and recommending corrective strategies.
