Overview:

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the final inspection, labeling, documentation, and shipment of large industrial engines and related parts, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery to our customers around the world.

Work Schedule:

Based at our Waukesha, WI facility in a 1st shift capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inform and coordinate with order-to-remittance / carriers for pickup of completed engines.
  • Request trucks for pickup via phone or online request.
  • Generate and apply nameplates, emission labels, and identifying labels per engine order.
  • Coordinate packing of loose parts with technicians.
  • Stock completed engines and validate loose parts requirements per engine order.
  • Process and create shipping documents in Oracle once units are stocked.
  • Confirm shipments in the system once units have shipped.
  • Pre-pack items for shipment via UPS, FedEx, and trucking companies.
  • Measure and weigh loads for shipment.
  • Arrange and process shipments of vendor return materials/parts.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Maintain shipping dock cleanliness and equipment.
  • Order skids, boxes, and supplies as needed from vendors.
  • Order replacement equipment as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics roles.
  • Ability to meet physical demands, including handling large industrial components and lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Experience operating industrial fork trucks and related equipment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Effective communicator and positive team player.
  • Ability to multi-task and coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Autonomous, results-driven, and accountable for decisions.
  • Willingness to learn and perform a variety of tasks.
