The role is responsible for monitoring, analyse and evaluate internal (mainly IT) developments from capitalization perspective with a close cooperation with IT department. The role is responsible to ensure the policies and process requirements are met, deliverables are provided to our internal and external stakeholders as per INNIO standards ensuring compliance. He/ She shall utilize experience and expertise to solve process gaps, develop and execute objectives which affect short-term and long-term business goals. Driving a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. 

 

Your tasks: 

  • Keep track of intangible capitalizations (mainly driven by IT developments), analyse development, evaluate CAPEX / OPEX portion and keep track of supporting documentation
  • Coordinate data provisioning, continuous communication with IT controller
  • Coordinate and manage account reconciliations
  • Coordinate processes for documentation, monitoring and review of internal controls
  • Own the various accounting processes through completeness check to invoice distribution, including process gap/issue identification, root cause analysis and gap/issue closing. Drive change across the board, facilitating process improvement projects in the team
  • Own accounting KPIs, maintain, enhance and improve accounting timeliness and accounting completeness for different regions
  • Support other financial functions with bookkeeping, payment, reporting, reconciliation and audit etc.
  • Act as primary point of contact for his/ her scope
  • Translate accounting needs / requirements into detailed project plans while driving internal execution to meet project targets 
  • Hires, trains, supervises and evaluates an effective workforce and delegates/monitors accounting activities for efficient operations
  • Monitor and drive engagement within the team to meet deliverables measured against goals
  • Effectively and timely communicating issues among internal and external stakeholders, building up constructive relationships with all teams
  • Ensure operational excellence in the areas of integrity, controllership and compliance

 

Your profile:

  • Degree from an accredited university in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Accounting
  • Proficient in Oracle & Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and influencing skills
  • Strong oral, written and telephonic communications skills both in English and Hungarian
  • Capable of designing, selling and implementing solutions, process improvements
  • Pro-active approach to problem solving
  • Ability to drive process improvements and solve complex problems
