Your Responsibilities:
- Act as internal expert for E&IC and power systems engineering, supporting multiple stationary and containerized power plant projects and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and improve standards, workflows, and documentation for Jenbacher installations; ensure optimal E&IC design and integration of engines with plant components
- Oversee specification and integration of electrical power system components (e.g., transformers, switchgears), and ensure compliance with grid codes, electrical standards, and safety regulations (EN, ATEX, SIL, CE)
- Coordinate across disciplines, support plant concept engineering, project structuring, and sales with technical expertise; guide and train the E&IC engineering group
- Drive continuous improvement, conduct risk and functional safety assessments, support procurement, and participate in site supervision, FAT/SAT, and commissioning
- Provide technical solutions for complex integration challenges in hybrid power systems
Your Profile:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics, or related field (MSc, Dipl.-Ing. FH or equivalent), with 15+ years’ experience in E&IC engineering, ideally in gas engine power plants and EPC/EPCM projects
- Strong knowledge of international, European, and North American electrical standards, automation systems, instrumentation, functional safety, and explosion protection (ATEX)
- Experience with containerized/stationary power plant projects, control systems, grid connection, electrical protection, and multidisciplinary team coordination
- Proficient in project and general management (certifications preferred), EMSR planning, automation systems (PLC, SCADA), engineering tools (Comos PT, EPlan), and functional safety/SIL implementation
- Skilled in technical training, recruiting, and personnel development; fluent in German (native) and English (business level)
- Analytical, solution-oriented, resilient, and proactive with strong communication, stakeholder management, and team coaching skills; customer-focused and willing to travel up to 30%
