As Senior Engineering Manager / Technical Project Lead, you will be responsible for the overall technical coordination and management of complex power plant projects, including Jenbacher gas engine-based solutions and containerized platforms. You will lead cross-functional teams across multiple engineering disciplines and departments, ensuring technical excellence, project delivery, and alignment with customer requirements and INNIO standards.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams (process, mechanical, electrical, civil, automation, controls, etc.) throughout all project phases
• Manage technical project execution, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and reporting to management and stakeholders
• Serve as the primary technical interface between internal teams, external partners, and customers, facilitating communication and collaboration across departments
• Oversee development, integration, and optimization of Jenbacher engine-based container platforms and BOP systems, ensuring compliance with international and local standards, safety, and environmental regulations
• Drive technical reviews, design validation, quality assurance, and support authority engineering, permitting, and regulatory submissions
• Identify and resolve technical challenges for timely and cost-effective project delivery, and mentor project engineers and technical staff

Your Profile:

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field; MSc, Dipl.-Ing., or equivalent) with 10+ years’ experience in engineering management or technical project leadership for power plant or industrial projects
• Proven track record in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and complex projects, with strong knowledge of reciprocating engines, containerized solutions, and BOP systems
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools, and familiarity with relevant standards and regulations (EN, IEC, ISO, PED, ASME, local building codes)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills; fluent in German and English (business level)
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, IPMA) is an advantage; proficiency with engineering and project management tools (MS Project, AutoCAD, SAP)
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach, with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
