About this role

We are looking for a highly skilled Global IT Network Administrator Networks to lead, manage, and continuously optimize our global enterprise and production network infrastructure. In this role, you will not only ensure reliable site-to-site connectivity and secure global communication in a hybrid IT/OT environment but also take responsibility for the strategic direction and leadership of our network team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Administer, operate, and optimize global site-to-site network connectivity, including Cisco portfolio management (routing, switching, global networking)
  • Ensure stable and secure interconnection of office, production, and warehouse sites, and design, operate, and secure production network environments
  • Enable and support cloud connectivity in hybrid environments (e.g., secure connectivity between on‑premises networks and cloud network components) and participate in cloud network subsystem design and implementation
  • Operate and support industrial firewalls, network segmentation, and security policies; monitor network availability, performance, and security
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues, provide 2nd/3rd level support, and collaborate with IT, OT, security, and business teams
  • Maintain and improve network documentation, independently manage network projects, and coordinate with external service providers

Your Profile:

  • Global IT Network Administrator or similar enterprise role experience
  • Extensive Cisco portfolio expertise
  • Strong site-to-site and global networking knowledge and familiar with hybrid on-prem/cloud connectivity
  • Solid enterprise and production network understanding
  • Barracuda firewall knowledge a plus
  • Skilled in routing, switching, WAN, and network security
  • Analytical, responsible problem solver and excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Fluent in English and German; proactive, solution-oriented
  • Willing to travel
