This role is in our Buffalo, NY office and has the opportunity for hybrid work with up to 2 days a week remote.

As an Account Representative 1 in the advanced solutions department, you will report to our Manager of Sales and be responsible for the items below.

Your Role:

  • Generate revenue, drive profit, and advance market share by positioning and selling Ingram's products, programs, and services.

  • Identify and proactively engage in business and sales opportunities to establish strong customer/vendor relationships and achieve identified sales-related objectives.

  • Focus on growth acquisition

  • Create strategic plans that enhance reseller go-to-market growth, sales initiatives, and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain contact with accounts at all levels including executive level. Focusing on the strategic nature of the relationship.

  • Focus on account support within territories that are of significant strategic importance and have a major strategic impact on the long-term success of the organization.

  • Tactical selling.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Selling skills necessary to identify opportunities, position solutions, and close deals.

  • Strong organizational skills and problem-solving agility.

  • Moderate knowledge of Excel and Word required.

  • Ability to:

    • Work as a team member and partner effectively with others.

    • Multi-task and respond to rapid change.

    • Perform duties with accuracy and a strong degree of urgency.

    • Prioritize and perform work with minimal supervision.

  • Able to handle large quantities of information while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

  • Ability to travel when requested.

What You Bring To The Role:

  • A high school diploma (or equivalent) required; a bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of two years of previous sales/customer service experience (preferably in a related industry) or one year of technology or distribution experience in a sales, support, or customer service capacity.

  • These timeframes may vary based on the candidate’s proven track record of successfully performing and demonstrating the required knowledge, skills, and experiences, and delivering the results required for this role.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $43,100.00 - $73,200.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
