Join ING’s Wholesale Banking Tech FMGT department as an IT Business Analyst and play a pivotal role in supporting Bloomberg Trading Systems. This is your opportunity to work on global, complex projects that shape financial markets worldwide.
The team
You will be part of the Bloomberg Support team within Wholesale Banking Tech FMGT as global system administrator. Our team ensures the availability, stability, and performance of global trading and pricing applications. We operate in a DevOps environment following Agile/Scrum principles, focusing on continuous delivery and innovation. Bloomberg Trading Solutions (TOMS) addresses the entire workflow with front-end portfolio, inventory, sales and trading for fixed income products. Bloomberg TOMS is deal capture for fixed income trades.
Roles and responsibilities
- Provide first-line functional and technical support for Bloomberg Trading Systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents in cooperation with traders, sales, vendors, and back-office teams.
- Interpret business rules and requirements to define technical specifications, including system interactions and data exchange.
- Participate in shaping activities and feasibility analyses for new initiatives, assessing IT impacts.
- Perform detailed functional and technical analysis and design, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Propose innovative ideas and recommend system improvements.
- Participate in disaster recovery exercises and ensure system resilience.
- Work on automation, resilience, deployments, and continuous integration within a DevOps team.
- Participate in projects Financial Markets wide.
How to succeed
- Minimum 4 years of experience in first-line application support.
- Knowledge of financial markets products and IT landscape.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Analytical skills for creating end-to-end solutions.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word & Excel).
- Experience with Python scripting (preferred).
