Job Overview

The purpose of the HR officer role is to play a key role in supporting the HR operations and employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding steps.

Specifically, the person is responsible for running the administrative part of these activities, ensuring the HR operations are compliant with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

Being an HR professional and collaborating tightly with HRBPs and HR Center of Expertise, this role is instrumental in supporting the HR organization as an “employee centric” service delivery organization, where employees and manager easily find support they are looking for.

The role reports to the Head People Services.

The position is offered as a fixed‑term contract (CDD) as a maternity leave replacement, with an expected end date of April 2027.

What you’ll do

  • HR operations support: you will be responsible for the administrative part of HR operations, including employees’ moves (entries, exits, internal mobility, etc). You will take an active part in the onboarding and offboarding experiences, in charge of setting up employees’ files and ensuring they are fully compliant with the internal procedures.
  • Time and attendance: you will be the main point of contact for employees’ time and attendance follow up and reporting with internal and external stakeholders. In that regards, you will specifically follow up on employees’ annual leave and specific leaves (sickness, parental leaves, etc…).
  • Employees benefits follow up: you will be in charge of managing the employees’ benefits (car leasing, health insurance, etc..). In that regards, you will be actively engaged in the communication with employees as well as with suppliers. As a central point of contact, you will ensure you provide appropriate information to all stakeholders and keep files up to date. 
  • Participation in key HR projects: you will be actively involved in the launch and implementation of key projects for the department, such as:
  • Employees’ Document Management,
  • Onboarding tools and processes,
  • Review and improvement of internal communication channels (newsletter, Intranet),
  • Implementation and roll‑out of HR ticketing systems.
  • In this context, you will contribute to process definition, coordination with stakeholders, testing phases and change adoption.

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and operational HR activities.
  • Solid understanding of HR Information Systems.
  • Proficiency in Workday is a strong asset; may be required depending on project scope).
  • Ability to support HR tools such as onboarding platforms, document management systems, and ticketing solutions.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into system or process requirements.
  • Ability to contribute to HR projects and tool implementations, including requirements gathering, process definition, coordination with stakeholders, user testing and continuous improvement.

Soft Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and listening skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to flawless execution.
  • Proactive, solution‑oriented, and able to take full ownership of assigned tasks.

Experience & Education

  • Approximately 2+ years of experience in HR operations or HRIS‑related roles.
  • University or college degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.

Languages

  • Fluent in English.
  • Proficiency in French.
