As a Field Application Engineer (FAE) we will provide you the opportunity to work on innovative automotive applications in our MCU (AURIX) team at Infineon. Your main focus will be the AURIX Software product especially MCAL. You will mainly support our main customer’s during the evaluation and development with AURIX & its Software Products in their systems, and support our Distributors FAE to support their customers. You will develop deep insights into the features of our AURIX MCU, understand how these devices can optimally be used in customer systems on SW architecture (MCAL for AUTOSAR), SafeTLIB for Functional Safety (A-SIL).

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Contribute to the development of modern electronic systems and their implementation in the innovative automotive market, focusing on AURIX
• Be the first level technical contact for our key automotive customer’s in the GC Region with a focus on AURIX & Its Software product, and 2rd level for Distributors customers
• Work proactively on optimized solutions for our customer’s applications together with the entire FAE/ AE Team, the Account Managers and the product experts of the headquarter
• Strong support customer working on SW architecture (MCAL of AUTOSAR),Functional Safety (SafeTLIB)
• Support our customers during the evaluation of our products
• Prepare and execute customer presentations and product / application trainings and Distributors FAE as well

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
You demonstrate strong communication skills and you are able to build a positive and trustful relationship. Moreover, you are looking for an active conversation with our customer’s; you evaluate chances and risks carefully and cooperate as a team player. You are also interested in new requirements in the automotive market and exchange your knowledge and experience within the team.

• Bachelor / Master Degree Major in EE, Automation Vehicle Engineering
• Automotive working experience of embedded SW application and AURIX is preferred
• Experience with AUTOSAR/MCAL & Functional Safety are required
• Strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting based customer support experience is must
• Fluency in spoken & written English and Chinese
• High-level of self-discipline, initiative and proactive
• Willingness to travel
