Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Identify and develop new Process technology and improve Process capability to meet new requirements from Business divisions.
- Responsible for technical handshake and knowledge transfer to Operation.
- Support prototype and development samples build.
- Generate and update relevant documents, eg Process Specification, PFMEA, DFMEA, OJTI, T32 (P), PDR
- Provide inputs for updating of related documents and is responsible for their correct contents, eg Process of Record, Assembly Design Rule, Process Roadmap, Failure catalogue, Control Plan, Maintenance checklist, etc for development projects.
- Liaise with suppliers for continuous improvement and perform verification and qualification activities for new tooling, machines and materials in Development projects. Participate task force / focus team and provide idea / solution for problem solving team using Statistical and analytical tools, eg SPC, APC, DOE, 8D, FMEA, DFMEA.
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Masters/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant course
- Minimum 3 years working experience in semiconductor manufacturing industry
- Adequate hands-on knowledge and skills in assembly area with relevant industry know how
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Good aptitude for collaboration, negotiation and solution finding
- Analytical equipment knowledge
- Statistical data analysis including design of experiment.

- The role involves performing process development activities to meet project targets in terms of timeline, quality, cost competitiveness, and manufacturability. Key responsibilities include identifying new process technologies, supporting prototype builds, and liaising with suppliers for continuous improvement.
