Job Description
You will help shape the way data is stored, moved and governed. Working with business owners, IT project teams and the Data Office, you will design data models, maintain data dictionaries and make sure our data flows meet regulatory and internal standards.
Main Tasks:
- Design and maintain data models, dictionaries, and catalogs for key applications.
- Ensure data governance, quality, security, and regulatory compliance (BCBS 239, GDPR, CCPA).
- Support project teams on data architecture, privacy, and security, embedding governance into delivery.
- Maintain the Enterprise Data Model, metadata, and data lineage aligned with business evolution.
- Deliver documentation, training, and knowledge sharing, working closely with data, architecture, and IT teams.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in data architecture, preferably within banking or finance
- Good understanding of data management concepts (modelling, data quality, data security, metadata).
- Experience with at least one data governance or cataloguing tool
- Ability to create clear data models and dictionaries that can be understood by both technical and non technical audiences.
- Certifications such as DAMA, TOGAF, or other architecture qualifications.
- Hands on experience with data management platforms
- Familiarity with visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau) or data prep / machine learning platforms (Dataiku).
- Experience modelling with Archi, PowerDesigner, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of cloud environments, encryption, and data format standards (JSON, XML, SWIFT).
- Good level of English - B2+
