Position Summary


Effectively provide administrative and operational support for the R&D Engineering Managers and Project Managers and their respective teams. This position sustains the end-to-end operational flow across multiple systems and sites through data validation, reporting, and coordination. The role plays a key part in ensuring process integrity, cross-site alignment, and timely visibility of engineering activities across the organization.


Key Responsibilities



  • Provide administrative support for onboarding new engineers and administrators.

  • Track managers and project managers feedback and coordinate documentation reviews to ensure readiness for formal release.

  • Maintain training documentation, including registering new hires, assigning learning paths, tracking completions, and generating weekly training compliance reports.

  • Monitor and update Engineering Transmittal (ET) - checks ET postings directly in Worknet, validates completeness (missing package, etc.)

  • Support the NPI process by communicating roadblocks that may impact product implementation for launch.

  • Validate alignment between R&D Engineering data and Implementation schedules to ensure accurate and timely R&D design releases.

  • Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for support related to INFOR and CADTalk data entry, troubleshooting issues, coordinating resolutions, and ensuring data accuracy.

  • Create and maintain R&D function–specific process documentation, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.

  • Organize, maintain, and govern the R&D SharePoint, ensuring accurate version control, accessibility, and alignment with internal processes

  • Support coordination of project communications, schedules, and cross-system data consistency.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Management


Preferred Competencies



  • Excellent written and oral communications skills to act as interface between production and the engineering team.

  • Maintain controlled documents, work instructions, and process updates with proper version control and audit readiness.

  • Possess a high degree of interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, fluent in English

  • Experienced with ERP tools such as INFOR and CADTalk.

  • Desire to develop skills through on-the-job experience to advance manufacturing processes.

  • Ability to effectively multitask and remain highly adaptable, demonstrating comfort with frequent shifts in priorities and direction while maintaining focus, productivity, and quality of work.


Education & Qualifications:



  • Technical institute certificate or equivalent professional experience preferred.

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).

  • Experience with database management, SharePoint, and ERP systems preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and sense of urgency.

  • Familiarity with engineering or manufacturing environments.

  • Strong understanding of production and documentation requirements and ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
