Senior Enterprise Risk Specialist (Operational risks)

Description

Key Responsibilities

• Guidance and support to business units in identifying and managing operational risks
  
  
• Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), including risk identification, assessment, and review of control design and effectiveness
  
  
• Risk event and root cause assessments, documentation of root cause and contributing factors
  
  
• Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) collection, ongoing reporting, and monitoring
  
  
• Development and monitoring of risk mitigation plans and controls, ensuring they are appropriately implemented and effective
  
  
• Ensure lessons learned are implemented into Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSAs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
  
  
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on operational risk management activities and findings
  
  
• Promotion of risk-awareness culture across the organization by providing training to targeted teams and new joiners
  
  

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in an operational risk role, an internal control role, or Risk Management/Internal Control consulting roles
  
  
• Proven experience in the execution of Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSAs) with a specific focus on Third Party Risk Management
  
  
• Confidence in data analysis and risk assessment methodologies
  
  
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  
  
• Collaborative team player with the confidence to work independently
  
  
• Strong communication and presentation skills
  
  
• Team player who is open to listening and learning, demonstrating a growth mindset
  
  
• A university degree in economics, business, or a tech-related field, or equivalent experience
