Overview

We are seeking a Network Administrator with strong hands-on experience in network administration combined with desktop support / end-user support. This role will be responsible for maintaining and improving the organization’s network and core infrastructure, while also providing high-quality technical support to internal users. The ideal candidate is comfortable troubleshooting across the stack—from WAN/VPN and cloud networking (including Cato Cloud) to virtualization (VMware) and endpoint issues.


Responsibilities

Network & Infrastructure

  • Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VPN, DNS/DHCP, and Wi-Fi environments.
  • Support and manage Cato Cloud (e.g., connectivity, policies, security controls, troubleshooting, user/site onboarding).
  • Maintain network security best practices (patching, access control, segmentation, and incident response support).
  • Partner with internal teams and vendors/ISPs to resolve connectivity and performance issues.
  • Document network topology, configurations, standards, and runbooks.

Virtualization & Systems

  • Support VMware environments (e.g., ESXi/vCenter operations, VM provisioning, performance monitoring, backups coordination).
  • Assist with general infrastructure tasks (servers, storage, backups, endpoint management as applicable).
  • Participate in maintenance windows, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Desktop / End-User Support

  • Provide Tier 2/3 desktop support for Windows/macOS endpoints and common productivity tools.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues, user access, printers, and conferencing/meeting-room tech as needed.
  • Manage onboarding/offboarding technical tasks (accounts, devices, access, security baselines).
  • Maintain strong customer service, clear communication, and timely ticket updates.



Requirements

  • Solid experience combining network administration and desktop/end-user support.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware (vSphere/ESXi/vCenter) and Cato Cloud 
  • Experience working with ticketing systems, documentation, and ITIL-style practices.
  • General infrastructure / networking certifications (preferred)
