Job Summary: 

The Account Executive at Embrace Pet Insurance, leads initiatives that drive business growth, deepen partner engagement, and elevate our presence within the insurance and financial services industries. Through a combination of creativity, analytical thinking, and a deep understanding of partner needs, the Partnership Manager helps solidify Embrace Pet Insurance as a category leader and a go-to partner for both D2C and agent business opportunities. 

 

 

Job Location: Remote 

 

Main Responsibilities:      

  • Own and manage a diverse portfolio of strategic partnerships, overseeing relationship growth and business development initiatives. 

  • Works with brokerages, insurance, private label and other potential partners, to reach, educate and convert into new opportunities. 

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders—including product, marketing, sales, analytics, and voice of customer teams—to deliver integrated, data-driven partnership strategies. 

  • Build and execute scalable go-to-market plans, engagement strategies, marketing materials and agent programs aligned to partner and company goals. 

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and optimize partnership performance. 

  • Lead and oversee the execution of partnership programs, including timelines, deliverables, and risk mitigation planning. 

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and apply program management best practices to strengthen partnership impact and operational excellence. 

  • Conduct market research and prospecting to identify new business development opportunities with a focus on D2C and agent businesses. 

  • Maintain a deep understanding of Embrace Pet Insurance and insurance products to advocate for the business and establish Embrace as a competitive and valued partner. 

  • Develop marketing and learning materials tailored to partnership needs and goals, while addressing short and long-term solutions. 

 

 

Basic Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field. 

  • 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, with a focus on national accounts and strategic partnerships. 

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with CRM tools and sales forecasting techniques. 

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders at all levels. 

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute complex business plans and initiatives. 

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement. 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and market conditions.

  • Ability and willing to travel
