OVERVIEW:

The Performance Specialist is responsible for the execution, optimisation, and performance management of paid digital media campaigns across multiple platforms. This role focuses on translating agreed strategies into effective campaign delivery, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and continuous optimisation.

The role is hands-on and data-driven, working closely with Senior Performance Specialists, Media Managers, Client Services, and Analytics teams to support strong client outcomes. While client-facing exposure is included, strategic ownership remains with senior team members.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE?
As part of the Paid Media team for the MENA market, you will support the delivery of Paid Performance Media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, X, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, and others.

You will focus on campaign setup, optimisation, tracking, and reporting, using tools such as GA4 and Looker Studio, and working with GMP platforms where required. The role is ideal for someone who is execution-focused, detail-oriented, and eager to grow into a more senior performance role over time.

PLACE WITHIN ORGANISATION

  • Reports to the Paid Media Team Lead
  • Works closely with Senior Performance Specialists, and Client Service Team.
  • Engages with platform partners (e.g. Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok) to stay informed on platform updates and best practices

WORKING HOURS:

This role follows standard Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While most clients operate on a Sunday-Thursday schedule, the successful candidate will primarily work Monday-Friday.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE - MUST-HAVE

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in paid media campaign management including strategy, optimisation and reporting.
  • Experience executing and optimising campaigns across platforms such as GMP (CM360, DV360, SA360) and Social Media
  • Experience working on KPI-driven performance or lead generation campaigns
  • Working knowledge of GA4 and Looker Studio, including basic dashboarding and reporting
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and identify optimisation opportunities
  • Experience supporting campaign tracking and measurement
  • Good understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and paid media fundamentals
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Fluent in English; understanding of Arabic is advantageous

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE - ADVANTAGEOUS

  • Exposure to GMP tools such as CM360, DV360, or SA360
  • Experience with Microsoft Ads, Apple Search Ads, or other secondary platforms
  • Exposure to feed-based or dynamic campaigns (e.g. DPL)
  • Basic understanding of third-party tracking or attribution tools
  • Interest in mobile or app marketing and analytics
  • Curiosity about emerging ad technologies and industry trends

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign Planning & Implementation

  • Set up and manage paid media campaigns across search, social, display, and programmatic channels
  • Conduct research to support audience targeting, keyword selection, and bidding approaches
  • Ensure campaigns are implemented accurately and aligned with agreed strategies
  • Audit existing campaigns to identify optimisation opportunities

Campaign Optimisation & Performance Management

  • Monitor campaign performance daily to improve efficiency and results
  • Implement ongoing optimisations related to targeting, creative, bidding, and budgets
  • Track performance against KPIs and pacing requirements
    Support monthly and ad hoc performance reporting

Technical Expertise & Problem Solving

  • Troubleshoot campaign issues across all paid platforms and provide actionable solutions.
  • Apply technical expertise to improve tracking, reporting, and campaign execution.

Reporting & Insights

  • Prepare performance reports using GA4 and Looker Studio
  • Identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement
  • Support senior team members with performance analysis and recommendations
