We are currently seeking an exceptional professional to join us as a Assistant Manager, Sales
The Assistant Manager, Sales is accountable for managing the day-to-day activities of the department; including, but not limited to training, mentoring and supervising the sales representatives and/or administrative staff; developing work procedures; and organizing and coordinating sales workflow. Receiving continuous communication and direction from management, and maintaining a consistent and accurate communication-flow of sales initiatives, objectives and programs throughout the department, are essential aspects of the job.
Responsibilities
Understand and incorporate Incora’s philosophy, values, visions and Sales initiatives in all behaviors, practices and decisions
Maintain a strong understanding of Incora’s quality standards, product lines, pricing, and delivery schedules
Review, understand and respond to basic long-term pricing agreements
Determine work procedures, coordinate and expedite staff workflow
Improve and standardize procedures to increase efficiency of sales team
Communicate department and company objectives to staff and maintain upward communication with senior management
Train and mentor all Sales Representatives
Maximize sales at existing accounts and develop new customers through professional and appropriate sales methods
Collaborate with Outside Sales to develop new customers from sales leads
Utilize strong negotiation skills to produce sales
Maintain professionalism, customer service and customer focus while building strategic partnerships with potential and existing Incora accounts
Work regularly with customers, providing timely, appropriate and accurate responses to inquiries and requests
Develop expert knowledge in regards to suppliers, products, competition and/or markets
Ensure adherence to customer approvals and quality requirements
Provide support and assistance to Corporate Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Quality, Finance and other departments as needed to resolve sales related efforts
Solve the most complex account issues efficiently
Participate in external/internal customer or company meetings
Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales and areas of expansion
Lead, participate and practice continuous improvement and/or process improvement efforts
Submit periodic expenditure reports as required; and maintain adherence to applicable policies and bugetary allowances
Maintain knowledge of supervisory responsibilities and enforce and uphold current Federal and State labor laws and Incora employment, safety and security policies and Work Instructions, as applicable
Audit or oversee auditing of employee timekeeping records and submit to Payroll, as scheduled
Prepare effective and timely performance evaluations, conduct reviews, administer salary adjustments, promotions or disciplinary actions and facilitate additional training or mentoring, as needed, driving maximum productivity and quality of processes, systems and procedures, in accordance with budgetary restrictions and compensation policies
Conduct and/or attend regularly scheduled and impromptu Sales meetings, and company-sponsored training, meetings and events, as required
Build and follow a personal development plan through the use of Intranet tools and programs, sales training programs, self assessment tools, and relevant training courses
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
3-5 years of proven experience in Sales,
Fluency in English
Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally
Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with an ability to mentor and motivate others
Excellent customer service and negotiation skills with the ability to deal tactfully and confidently, both internally and externally
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Action oriented
