Site Superintendent

<p data-start="218" data-end="237"><strong data-start="218" data-end="237">The Opportunity</strong></p> <p data-start="239" data-end="425">InCharge Energy is seeking a highly organized <strong>Site Superintendent</strong> to manage EV charging and electrification rollouts. The position reports directly to the Director of Project Management.&nbsp;This role requires significant regional travel and is focused on delivering a timely, customer-centered, turnkey installation experience. Key objectives include leading subcontractors through project completion, maintaining safety and quality standards, reporting on progress, and documenting results.</p> <p data-start="730" data-end="748"><strong data-start="730" data-end="748">What You’ll Do</strong></p> <p data-start="750" data-end="783"><strong data-start="750" data-end="783">Project Delivery and Closeout</strong></p> <ul> <li data-start="785" data-end="2440">Oversee all phases of EV charger installation and commissioning to the highest quality standards</li> <li data-start="785" data-end="2440">Supervise and coordinate construction teams and subcontractors while ensuring compliance with AHJ requirements</li> <li data-start="785" data-end="2440">Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Customers to resolve challenges and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle</li> <li data-start="785" data-end="2440">Support subcontractor selection and buyout activities, including coordination of subcontracted work</li> <li data-start="785" data-end="2440">Develop and manage field schedules, including planning, sequencing, and tracking project activities with weekly updates</li> <li data-start="785" data-end="2440">Maintain accurate cost tracking and reporting</li> <li data-start="785" data-end="2440">Schedule subcontractors, vendors, and on-site commissioning activities to meet or exceed project schedules</li> <li data-start="785" data-end="2440">Maintain detailed project documentation including progress reports, change orders, and related records</li> <li data-start="785" data-end="2440">Perform quality control responsibilities for all work performed in the field</li> <li data-start="785" data-end="2440">Ensure the highest safety standards are upheld, including review of daily JHAs, toolbox talks, and related safety documentation</li> <li data-start="785" data-end="2440">Conduct daily site walks to verify quality, safety, and schedule compliance</li> <li data-start="785" data-end="2440">Ensure project sites are maintained in a clean and orderly condition that meets or exceeds customer expectations</li> <li data-start="785" data-end="2440">Identify and complete job progress and closeout punch lists</li> <li data-start="785" data-end="2440">Provide leadership and mentorship to field staff while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment</li> <li data-start="785" data-end="2440">Perform on-site boltdowns and commissioning of chargers</li> <li data-start="785" data-end="2440">Travel to multiple project locations with flexibility to adapt to changing site conditions</li> <li data-start="785" data-end="2440">Manage responsibilities across multiple active project sites simultaneously</li> </ul> <p data-start="2442" data-end="2478"><strong data-start="2442" data-end="2478">Your Experience and Capabilities</strong></p> <ul> <li data-start="2480" data-end="3681">10-15+ years of electrical construction experience including hands-on field construction management required</li> <li data-start="2480" data-end="3681">Electrical engineering, estimating, or construction background required</li> <li data-start="2480" data-end="3681">Electrical Journeyman or higher qualification or state or province equivalent required</li> <li data-start="2480" data-end="3681">OSHA 30 certification required</li> <li data-start="2480" data-end="3681">Forklift and Lull certifications required</li> <li data-start="2480" data-end="3681">ECAP certification or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire</li> <li data-start="2480" data-end="3681">EVITP certification or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire</li> <li data-start="2480" data-end="3681">Ability to adapt to the evolving needs of a fast-growing startup environment</li> <li data-start="2480" data-end="3681">Strong client-facing and internal communication skills</li> <li data-start="2480" data-end="3681">Detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to operate independently with limited supervision while delivering timely and accurate work</li> <li data-start="2480" data-end="3681">Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite</li> <li data-start="2480" data-end="3681">Experience with Salesforce, Procore, or similar platforms a plus</li> <li data-start="2480" data-end="3681">Demonstrated leadership in high-performance environments with the ability to build trust, align teams, and communicate effectively</li> <li data-start="2480" data-end="3681">Extensive experience scheduling construction across multiple sites and managing subcontractors and vendors</li> <li data-start="2480" data-end="3681">Commercial Driver’s License or ability to obtain one is desirable</li> </ul> <p data-start="3683" data-end="3778"><em data-start="3683" data-end="3778">Equivalent qualification defined as 8000 hours of hands-on electrical construction experience</em></p>
