The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for operating an order-picker to retrieve and ship stocked merchandise to fulfill customer orders that are shipped via various freight line carriers.

This is a Day shift position, and the schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

You will:

• Operate an order-picker to retrieve stock
• Prepare orders for shipping
• Stack and wrap merchandise on pallets.
• Check the packing list against the merchandise for accuracy.
• Inspect merchandise for damage.
• Load palletized merchandise on various freight line carriers’ trucks.
• Manage shipping vendor returns.
• Maintain records of outbound shipments
• Frequently inspect material handling equipment to report any mechanical issues.

You have:

• Ability to learn and operate ERP system.
• Ability to operate and complete a tow motor, order-picker, and pallet jack certifications.
• Ability to lift and carry 60 lbs.; ability to pull 2200 lbs. using a pallet jack and pull or push 200 lbs. using a two-wheeler.
• Ability to stand and be in motion at all times. Flexible enough to walk, twist, bend, stoop, pull, grip and lift merchandise.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required
