Key Responsibilities

• Assemble plastic components and materials into finished units or subassemblies according to specifications.
• Use hand tools, small power tools, fixtures, and other special-purpose equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow detailed written instructions, diagrams, schematics, and verbal guidance to complete assigned tasks.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for accuracy, alignment, and quality compliance.
• Rework, adjust, or reassemble units when necessary to resolve defects or meet design standards.
• Maintain work area cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety protocols.
• Report material shortages, equipment malfunctions, or quality issues promptly.
• Assist with basic equipment setup or adjustments as required.
• Perform other duties within the fabrication area as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of relevant training or experience in manufacturing, assembly, plastics, or similar environments.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Skilled in the safe use of hand and small power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Preferred:

• Experience in plastic fabrication or molding environments.
• Familiarity with basic measurement tools (calipers, rulers, gauges).
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
