Job Summary

The “Scent App Product Owner” contributes to the definition, delivery, and continuous improvement of a Scent digital core product.
One position will focus on Puma and another position will focus on Phoenix.

The role works closely with business stakeholders, UX expert, global IT and Chennai platform, and data teams.
The Product Owner translates business needs into clear product requirements, manages the backlog, and ensures that delivered features create measurable value for users and the organization.
The role considers IT landscape and Business End to End aspect for successful integration strategy.

We are looking for an experienced Specialist , IT Project/Product Management to join an exceptional team based in our creative center in Neuilly-sur-Seine as a primary location.

Where You’ll Make a Difference

1. Product Contribution & Execution

  • Contribute to refining the medium and long-term product vision by providing user insights, business needs, and feedback from operational teams.

  • Translate defined strategy and objectives into actionable feature requirements.

  • Support the creation and updates of product roadmaps by providing validated data points, user needs, and feasibility inputs.

  • Maintain strong relationships with functional stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.

  • Think End to End, on application landscape (from Puma to Phoenix, Lynx,…); and on business execution (from Sales Manager to SDM, SDM to Perfumer,…); including all functional roles targeting overall increased productivity and higher win rate.

2. Feature Delivery & Continuous Improvement

  • Gather and document detailed business requirements through interviews, workshops, and direct observation.

  • Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications that reflect user and business needs.

  • Prioritize backlog items in alignment with guidance from the Product Director and cross-functional priorities.

  • While working on tool integration and the delivery of new features, continue improvement of existing features UI and UX

  • Collaborate with IT engineering, UX, and data teams during grooming, sprint planning, and delivery cycles to ensure understanding and quality.

  • Validate delivered features before delivery in production. Ensure they meet acceptance criteria and generate expected value.

  • Collect user feedback and monitor usage metrics to contribute to continuous improvement cycles.

3. End to End Business Process Understanding

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews including in remote

  • Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for simplification or automation.

  • Work towards standardization across categories and geographies.

  • Create clear process documentation and maintain it as products evolve.

  • Participate in validation activities during deployments, ensuring that business needs are fully reflected in delivered functionalities.

  • Contribute to the introduction of new technologies or automation tools by clarifying requirements and evaluating fit.

4. Backlog Management

  • Own and maintain the product backlog for their specific product(s).

  • Ensure backlog items are well‑defined, structured, and prioritized based on user value and business context.

  • Identify dependencies impacting the product and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve or escalate them.

5. KPIs & Product Performance

  • Support the definition of product-level KPIs by contributing to define meaningful user-centric and process-centric indicators.

  • Integrate KPI needs within new feature requirements, ensure relevant data flows to dashboards.

  • Monitor feature adoption, usage patterns, and product performance through analytics tools.

  • Provide insights and reports to the Product Director to help guide product decisions and roadmap adjustments.

6. Adoption, Change Management & Training Support

  • Support change management activities by preparing feature documentation, release notes, and user guides.

  • Collaborate with training teams to ensure new functionalities are well understood and adopted by end users.

  • Participate in communication and onboarding sessions to help users gain confidence in new digital tools.

  

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Product Management, Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

 

Desired Experience

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or digital product delivery.

  • Exposure to Fragrance Business. Knowledge and understanding of key success factors within this environment

  • Experience interacting with large and complex operating framework, non-predictive workflow-driven applications is an advantage.

 

Technical Skills

  • Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.

  • Familiarity with UX/UI concepts and user‑centric design.

  • Ideally proficiency with product management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Aha!, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and backlog management practices.

  • Ability to interpret basic analytics and KPIs.

Job Location

  • Key Creative Center is Highly recommended for easy, direct and frequent interactions with business stakeholders (even if the job is global and will need to ensure alignment with global user team on remote basis)

  • Proximity with Chennai clock is welcome as the position will include frequent interaction with our Chennai IT site.
