
As a Supply Chain Associate in IDEXX’s Memphis Distribution Center, you will work in our warehouse environment to pick, pack, label and ship smaller daily shipments to national customers and distribution centers. This role is hands-on and physically active, with a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and safety. You will support daily small‑package operations, operate warehouse equipment, and ensure orders are fulfilled correctly while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Shift Schedule: Sunday 8am - 4:30pm, Monday - Thursday 3pm - 11:30pm
What You Can Expect in This Role:
Work in a fast‑paced distribution environment handling daily smaller shipments with tight turnaround times
Perform picker/packer duties, picking small package orders accurately and efficiently
Support cross‑training initiatives and assist in other warehouse areas, including loading trucks as needed
Use RF scanners (RF guns) to pick, verify, and fulfill orders accurately
Ensure proper counting, item matching, and quantity verification—accuracy is critical
Maintain accurate shipping documentation and inventory records in SAP
Troubleshoot order discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment while following all safety guidelines
Contribute as part of a collaborative team focused on delivering excellent customer service
What You Need to Succeed:
High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required; Bachelor’s degree in logistics or supply chain preferred
Exceptional attention to detail—accurate counting, reading product descriptions, verifying item numbers, and confirming quantities are essential
Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift 40–50 lbs
Comfort working in a cold room and freezer environment for portions of the day
Strong ability to read, interpret, and follow product descriptions and order details
Forklift experience preferred but not required (training available)
Previous distribution, picker/packer, or warehouse experience required
Experience using RF scanners required
Familiarity with SAP, Microsoft Word, and Excel preferred
Strong written communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
