
As a Logistics Specialist in the Logistics Snap Manufacturing team, you will manage and execute the acquisition of raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods. This supports production and service for all Slides Manufacturing. The Materials Planner will use SAP to plan and execute POs and will be responsible for managing supplier relationships and delivery schedules for assigned products. You will have the opportunity to collaborate across several key functional areas and will make a difference by evaluating existing processes for efficiencies and improvements.
Shift Information - 1st Shift - Monday - Friday - 6:30am - 3:00pm
What you can expect in this role:
• You will use SAP to maintain supply plan and order materials to maintain an appropriate inventory level.
• You will communicate requirements and manage the delivery schedule with the warehouse.
• You will collaborate with procurement and quality groups to ensure products meet quality specifications.
• You will Identify, troubleshoot, recommend solutions, and resolve supply problems.
• You will develop and grow strong, mutually-beneficial relationships with internal customers.
• You understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.
• Adhere to all appropriate ISO quality standards and work instructions.
• Develop, continually learn, grow and strengthen individual capabilities, staying current with best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
What you will need to succeed:
• You possess strong verbal and written communication skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You have a strong attention to detail.
• You have the ability to identify gaps or improvement opportunities with a desire to implement change.
• Solid negotiation skills with working knowledge of negotiation tactics and techniques.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to lead small groups.
• You have a solid working knowledge of SAP/MRP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experienced in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel).
• A strong focus on process, continuous improvement, and quantitative analysis.
