Position Overview
As an IT Applications Solution Architect, you will design and integrate enterprise IT solutions with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain and Azure ecosystem. Operating in an industrial environment with strict cybersecurity requirements, you will ensure seamless integration between ERP platforms and mission-critical manufacturing applications, while guaranteeing performance, compliance, and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Design
- Design robust, scalable, and secure solutions. Ensure compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations.
- Deliver and maintain architectural documentation (HLD, LLD).
- Ensure seamless integration of application with stringent industrial cybersecurity standards.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of D365, integrated systems, and Azure environments (including troubleshooting, identifying bottlenecks and mitigate vulnerabilities).
Microsoft Expertise
- Design integration of D365 within our applications portfolio (CRM, HRMS, legacy applications, industrial software, and third-party systems) to meet business requirements.
- Lead implementations, migrations, and upgrades of D365.
- Leverage Azure as the preferred platform for hosting, security, and integration. Enhance usage of Power Platform, Power BI, and Azure services.
ERP focuses
- Drive process optimization and business value through ERP capabilities using security by design principals.
- Integrate ERP solutions with specialized industrial systems (MES, PLM, WMS, production software).
- Design and implement integration patterns (APIs, middleware, microservices, EDI).
- Ensure efficient and secure data flow between ERP and manufacturing systems.
Collaboration and Preferred Skills
Collaboration and Leadership
- Provide technical leadership and enforce best practices across teams.
- Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Act as a cross-functional technical leader.
- Provide guidance, expertise and challenge on application landscape to partners and integrators.
Prefered Skills
- Certifications: Dynamics 365 Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, or cybersecurity (CISSP, ISO 27001).
- Experience with Agile/DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of Power Platform / Power BI.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or production industries (with high security requirements if possible).
