For our client in the Ghent region, we are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is eager to start or further develop their career in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry. We welcome applications from both recent graduates and experienced candidates with a background in finance. The key requirement is a strong willingness to learn and grow within the field, combined with solid administrative, coordination, and project management skills, as well as a clear interest in financial and contractual processes.

The PMO Project Contracting Coordinator acts as a central operational support within Clinical Development. The role plays a critical part in the administrative, financial, and logistical setup and management of contracts supporting R&D programs. This includes, but is not limited to, contracts involving external stakeholders such as Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), as well as other third-party agreements relevant to clinical and development activities. By ensuring consistent, accurate, and reliable contract support, the role enables key stakeholders to focus on the successful advancement of development programs.


What you will be doing:

  • Act as the single point of contact for colleagues regarding contract setup, purchase order creation, and invoice follow-up.
  • Manage interactions and workflows, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Develop fluency in relevant business processes, proactively identifying and resolving blockers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Demonstrate project management qualities to effectively coordinate across a range of stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and swift follow-up.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of financial processes related to contracting, invoicing, and tracking.
  • Continuously explore and propose improvements to ways of working, contributing to operational excellence.

Your Profile:

  • Proven experience in contract administration, project coordination, or financial operations within a clinical or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with tools for workflow management platforms.
  • Understanding of financial and procurement processes, including purchase orders and invoicing.
  • Proactive, curious mindset with a drive for process improvement.
