We are currently seeking a Director of Business Development to join our diverse and dynamic team. As the Director of Business Development at ICON, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and strategic partnerships by identifying new business opportunities and enhancing client relationships. Your leadership will be essential in expanding our market presence and ensuring that ICON remains a leader in clinical research services.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Developing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with ICON’s overall objectives and market opportunities.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including collaborations, partnerships, and client engagement initiatives.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and industry partners to drive growth and enhance ICON’s reputation.
  • Leading proposal development efforts and presenting innovative solutions to prospective clients.
  • Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and identify areas for growth.
Your Profile:
  • Advanced degree in business, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in business development within the clinical research or healthcare sector, with a proven track record of driving growth.
  • Strong understanding of the clinical trial process and the needs of clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives.
