The English Language Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and assessing English language training programs that enhance learners’ grammar proficiency, accent neutralization, and overall communication skills. This role supports trainees throughout their learning curve, ensuring measurable progress and alignment with operational language requirements in a fast-paced BPO environment.
Create, implement, and continuously improve English language training plans to enhance learners’ proficiency.
Conduct virtual and onsite language facilitation sessions, focusing on grammar accuracy and accent neutralization.
Deliver differentiated, engaging, and inquiry-based lessons tailored to learners’ needs.
Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment, incorporating cultural awareness and real-world communication contexts.
Assess and track learners’ progress using formative and summative assessments.
Provide timely, constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
Compile and analyze language development metrics and quality trends.
Report learner progress and learning outcomes to stakeholders.
Design and adapt curriculum aligned with established guidelines, emphasizing grammar, pronunciation, and accent clarity.
Support collaborative planning and a team-teaching approach when required.
Organize and manage session schedules, attendance records, and instructional resources using platforms such as Pearson.
Utilize virtual platforms, digital tools, and online resources to create interactive learning experiences.
Ensure accurate documentation and reporting within training systems.
Stay up to date with language teaching methodologies and educational technology advancements.
Demonstrate strong cultural sensitivity and promote inclusivity among learners from diverse backgrounds.
Excellent verbal and written English proficiency.
Strong teaching and facilitation skills.
Solid understanding of training processes in a BPO or corporate environment.
Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
Strong organization, time management, and communication skills.
Ability to use digital learning tools and virtual facilitation platforms effectively.
Proven experience as an English Language Trainer / Facilitator.
TEFL certification or equivalent formal English teaching certification (required).
Previous teaching or language training experience.
BPO experience.
Experience with grammar instruction and accent neutralization.
Familiarity with collaborative planning and team-based training environments.
