Position: Marketing Intern
Reports To: President/CEO
Location: Hybrid – Brunswick, GA
Salary/Hourly Rate: $12-15/hr.

Job Summary: IBEX IT Business Experts is seeking a Marketing Intern to support social media and digital marketing initiatives, with a focus on content creation, brand awareness, and engagement. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in gaining hands-on experience in B2B marketing, social media strategy, and brand storytelling within a fast-growing, mission-driven organization.

 

The intern will support day-to-day social media execution while learning how marketing functions within a professional services and SaaS environment. This position offers mentorship, real-world exposure, and flexible scheduling.

 

Local candidates in or near Brunswick, GA, are strongly preferred to support collaboration and onboarding.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with planning, drafting, and scheduling social media content across LinkedIn and other platforms
Support brand-aligned messaging for marketing campaigns, announcements, and thought leadership
Create and edit basic graphics and visual content using tools such as Canva
Monitor social media engagement and assist with reporting on performance metrics
Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and audience engagement strategies
Support marketing initiatives such as email campaigns, events, or webinars as needed
Maintain content calendars and assist with content organization
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure brand consistency

Work Environment, Professional Appearance & Physical Demands

Employees are expected to present themselves professionally in all settings — whether working remotely or in person. Attire should be business casual unless otherwise specified and should reflect the professional standards of our company and, where applicable, those of our clients.

Corporate/Internal Roles: Remote-first with business casual dress for virtual meetings. Video should remain on during internal and external calls unless otherwise excused.
Client-Facing Roles: Work environment and dress code are based on the client’s policies and expectations. These changes will be clearly communicated as part of the onboarding process or when assignments are updated.
Fieldwork/Special Events: Appropriate attire may include IBEX-branded apparel, long pants, closed-toe shoes, and other safety-compliant gear, depending on the task.

Physical Demands

While most corporate roles are performed in a remote, seated office setting, some positions may occasionally require:

Sitting or standing for extended periods of time
Typing or viewing a screen for prolonged durations
Lifting items up to 15–25 lbs (e.g., marketing materials, laptops, or equipment for in-person events)
Travel for client meetings, industry events, or internal gatherings (as required)

Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
Interest in social media, branding, and digital marketing
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Comfortable learning new tools and platforms
Self-starter with a positive, professional attitude
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple pipelines
Experience managing or creating content for social media platforms
Familiarity with Canva, Hootsuite, HubSpot, or similar tools
Basic understanding of B2B marketing or professional services
Graphic design, video, or content creation experience
