As a Web Development Intern, you will play a key role in managing and evolving our development and deployment ecosystem within the IT Solutions Delivery team – Individual Insurance and Annuities.

What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Web Development Intern, you will be at the heart of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Participating in the analysis, design, programming, configuration, and integration of Salesforce solutions, while adopting a “just enough – just in time” approach.

• Applying development best practices endorsed by our Centers of Excellence and corporate standards.

• Ensuring the security and confidentiality of digital information.

• Measuring and optimizing the performance, robustness, and functional coverage of the developed solutions.

• Setting up and using continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Providing technical support for production solutions (diagnostics, maintenance, monitoring).

• Promoting documentation and best practices within the team.

What could accelerate your success in this role

We are looking for someone who:

• Is currently enrolled in a college diploma (DEC) or bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and must complete a credited internship in Summer 2026.

• Demonstrates strong problem‑solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Has experience with programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.

• Is familiar with the Salesforce platform (asset).

• Has knowledge of cloud, container, and virtualization technologies such as Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, etc. (assets).

• Is familiar with modern frameworks such as .NET Framework Standard, .NET Core 8–9, jQuery, React, Angular, Spring, etc. (assets).

• Feels comfortable using artificial intelligence tools (asset).
