Information Security Advisor, Risk and Compliance

As an Information Security Advisor, Risk and Compliance, you will play a strategic role in operationalizing risk management and compliance practices, leveraging globally recognized frameworks (NIST, COBIT, COSO). What you will accomplish with us 

As an Information Security Advisor, Risk and Compliance, you will be at the core of our mission. Your main responsibilities include: 

• Operationalize risk management and compliance practices in information security for the VP’s processes. 

• Identify gaps against normative frameworks (NIST, COBIT, COSO) and propose action plans to mitigate risks. 

• Monitor the effectiveness of security controls implemented in processes and systems. 

• Collaborate on internal and external audits and contribute to action plans following recommendations. 

• Monitor third-party information security risks. 

• Participate in the evolution of the control framework and risk management practices in collaboration with first and second lines of defense. 

• Contribute to training and change management to foster a culture of secure behaviors. 

• Take part in strategic and ad hoc projects entrusted to the Information Security VP. 

What will accelerate your success in this role 

We are looking for someone who: 

• Holds a college diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT, business administration, or any other relevant field. 

• Has 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role in information security, risk management, or compliance. 

• Is recognized for rigor and precision in applying standards and controls. 

• Stands out for strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in risk management. 

• Demonstrates excellent collaboration and influencing abilities with various stakeholders. 

• Excels in clear and educational communication, both written and verbal. 

• Has an advance level of French to communicate via email and videoconference with internal partners and French-speaking suppliers on a weekly basis. 

An asset for your application 

• Recognized certifications (CISA, CISM, CRISC, GIAC). 

• Knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry. 

• Familiarity with governance, risk and compliance (GRC) tools and normative frameworks (NIST, COBIT, COSO).
