Position Summary

This Co-op opportunity offers hands-on experience in automotive product development across multiple departments. The program is structured in phases to provide exposure to both technical and practical aspects of engineering and manufacturing.

 

Term 1: NVH & Prototype Lab Experience

  • Gain foundational knowledge in Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) technologies
  • Participate in real-world data collection and analysis in the NVH Labs
  • Transition to the Product Development Prototype Lab to learn molding and assembly processes for HAVS components
 

Terms 2 & 3: Engineering Department Experience

  • Work under the guidance of an Application Team Leader
  • Support Product Development Engineers on active programs
  • Responsibilities include:
    • Assembling prototypes
    • Creating and submitting test requests
    • Running engineering reports
    • Assisting in troubleshooting part designs and assembly processes
    • Preparing components for production environments
 

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an engineering or technical degree program
  • Strong interest in automotive product development
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
