About this role

In this newly-created role, the Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor will join the pharmacy leadership team to provide general leadership and support in the development and management of clinical pharmacy services to patients through the hospital. This will also include assisting with selection and onboarding of new pharmacists, residents, and interns; annual competency and evaluation processes; and general direction of pharmacy staff for the accomplishment of department goals. Working under the direction of the pharmacy managers, the Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor will assist in the provision of effective, appropriate, and safe pharmacy distribution services as well as excellent customer service, and help manage accreditation and certification requirements, and interdepartmental relations for the provision of pharmacy services.

Work Schedule:

  • Day shift, mostly weekdays with some evenings or weekends as needed to support staff.

Required Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited university or equivalent.
  • Three years of health system pharmacy experience.
  • Licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Minnesota.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clinical or supervisor experience.
  • Certification by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties.

Additional Information:
This is a non-union 0.8 FTE (64 hours per pay period) day shift position working in Saint Paul and St. Louis Park, MN. The full pro-rated salary range for this position is $105,048.32-$162,822.40 annually, based on years of experience and internal equity. This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and is eligible for benefits.
