About this role

As a Client Service Representative on our Status team in our Foreclosure department, you will provide support to our attorneys as they represent mortgage servicers in civil action related to recovering their collateral.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Input data, update websites, and perform status inquiries
  • Maintain information related to specific team documents
  • Draft correspondence with clients and other agencies involved in foreclosure process
  • Answer phone calls from prospective purchasers and or borrowers or lenders
  • Monitor lender requests, calculating figures, and meeting all deadlines related to these requests
  • Ensure files are complete with all legal documents
  • Work as liaison between the mortgage company and the homeowners
  • Address and properly handle any issues that may arise with a file when brought to the attention of the Firm

Any employee of the foreclosure department may be cross-trained and expected to fulfill responsibilities of any team at any time based on business need.
 

Minimum Qualifications  

  • 2-4 years of experience in mortgage foreclosure processing and billing
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Experience with LoanSphere (LPS), Simplifile, & OnBase
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines

Preferred Skills & Experience

 

  • 5-7 years of experience in mortgage foreclosure processing and billing
  • Knowledge of foreclosure process from beginning to end.

Work Environment
 

This job operates in a clerical office setting with regular business hours of 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, but your schedule for work will be determined by your supervisor. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. You would be required to lift files (up to 15 lbs.)
