Responsible for maintaining a line of communication between individuals in the waiting rooms and in the clinical areas within Emergency Services. Provide support and crisis management in trauma situations for families and patients. Provides clinical personnel and other emergency care center staff with support and opportunities for stress management.
Education Required• High School Diploma/GED required. Education Preferred• Associates degree or certification preferred. • Advanced studies in humanity, psychology, social work or equivalent preferred.
License, Certification and/or Registration• Must be certified in BLS for Healthcare Providers.• BLS for Healthcare Providers must be obtained in the orientation period.• Will consider experience in lieu of degree or certification
Experience• Prior related experience preferred but not required.Additional Skills/Abilities• Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently
and quickly. • Must be knowledgeable of general office equipment.
