About this role

Overview

The Case Management Team Leader is responsible for the provision of strong leadership within the case management department. The role is pivotal in the support and supervision of team members to ensure high quality service provision to patients.  The Case Management Team Leader provides leadership and support change management in the continued development of our department in line with current regulatory and payer requirements. The Case Management Team Manager coordinates with physicians, nurses, social workers and other health team members to expedite medically appropriate, cost-effective care; applies clinical expertise and medical appropriateness criteria to resource utilization and discharge planning.

Qualifications

Education required: Nursing degree 

License, Certification and/or Registration: Graduate of accredited School of Nursing with current Alabama licensure.
