About this role

Overview

Performs occupational therapy procedures and other related tasks under the direction of a Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) and assists the OTR/L in patient activities.  Supervises technicians, volunteers and students as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

 

Education: Graduate of AOTA accredited educational program for Occupational Therapists Assistants required.  Must have current Alabama license.  Must receive BCLS certification within orientation period. Prefer member of AOTA.

 

Experience:  None required

Additional Skills/Abilities:  Must have excellent communication skills with the ability and willingness to work with all patients in a fast-paced environment.
