
The Senior Learning Systems Professional facilitates access to expertise, services, and resources related to technology-supported learning. Develops and deploys technology-based training and interactive e-learning courses and skilling modules. Guides facilitators and selects appropriate technologies (e.g., Articulate 360, Vyond, Camtasia, Cornerstone onDemand) to support development and delivery. Updates and manages the LMS. Creates and maintains user interfaces, audio, video, graphics, and animations; designs the look and feel of courses, learning portals, mobile learning, and print materials with an eye toward clarity. Assembles all elements into a running course, adds interactivity, and ensures the course can interface with a Learning Management System, if required. Collaborates with subject matter experts on appropriate technology-based learning solutions. Provides technical troubleshooting support to learning programs. Develops project documentation, including development standards, templates, and storyboards. Builds, implements, and maintains productivity and collaboration solutions using SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and other Microsoft 365 applications. Begins to influence department strategy and exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Key Responsibilities
Create user interfaces, audio, video, graphics, and animations for e-learning courses and skilling modules.
Assemble and integrate course components, add interactivity, and ensure compatibility with LMS.
Troubleshoot LMS application issues and perform LMS updates as needed/available for security, functionality, and user experience.
Provide technical LMS support as needed for the team and, as availability allows, the rest of IT.
Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint functionality to streamline information sharing and automate workflows.
Build and implement productivity and collaboration solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate to create user-friendly applications.
Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and IT teams to assess learning needs, ensure alignment between learning solutions and business objectives, and deliver effective solutions.
Partners with Associate Director to develop, refine, and prioritize the skilling roadmap, aligning future skills training with IT needs.
Supports the Associate Director in all reporting (e.g., learning effectiveness, KPI tracking, completion rates, type of learning requests).
Manages learning tool license administration to ensure prudent allocation of these learning licenses across IT.
Partners with Associate Director to provide consulting on incoming learning requests for IT colleagues that want to build their own training.
Support IT Learning Week, as needed.

Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in learning systems administration, instructional design, or e-learning development.
3+ years of experience designing, managing, and/or administrating productivity and collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and other Microsoft 365 applications.
Proficient in creating and editing multimedia learning assets using industry-standard tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Animate, Audition, Captivate, Express, Illustrator, Photoshop) and eLearning development platforms such as Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate.
Strong proficiency in Learning Management systems, such as Cornerstone onDemand or similar programs.
Experience designing, implementing, and supporting technology-based learning solutions, including e-learning modules, virtual classrooms, and multimedia content.
Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and manage learning projects effectively, including timelines, stakeholder communication, and risk mitigation.
Highly organized with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Demonstrated experience of adult learning theory, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), e-learning standards, and performance improvement approaches.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to ensure accuracy, consistency, and effectiveness of all activities.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and contribute to organizational strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Technology, Educational Design, Computer Science, or a related field;
Experience leveraging AI technologies to enhance productivity and drive work outcomes
Experience in IT environments and/or with IT associates.
