The Senior Behavioral Economics Professional designs, executes, and measures the results of large scale experiments. The Senior Behavioral Economics Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The Senior Behavioral Economics Professional applies economic and econometric principles for analysis, and interprets and communicates insights and findings. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

  • PhD Degree in Economics, Behavioral Sciences, Psychology, Applied Statistics or related field.

  • Experience leading the design of lab or field experiments.

  • Experience leading analysis of various types of data using R, Python, or similar software.

  • Understanding of quasi-experimental methods, including appropriate uses and trade-offs for different approaches.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience leading (or making meaningful contributions to) quasi-experimental analyses of real-world data.

  • At least two years of work experience in consulting, applied research, healthcare, insurance, or related industry (outside of academia).

  • Demonstrated experience communicating technical topics to non-technical audiences.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting measurement at different stages of project scale, e.g. feasibility pilots, outcomes studies, and full scaling.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$106,900 - $147,000 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
