Summary:

The Rear Loader Class 3 Driver will be responsible for operating Rear Loader Trucks. This role supports public health by ensuring timely service, adherence to safety and environmental regulations, and respectful interaction with the community.

 

Responsibilities:

As a Rear Loader Class 3 Driver, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Adhering to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • Operating of a Rear Loader Truck.
  • Ensure timely collection of waste and recyclable materials.  
  • You must be highly productive and have excellent customer services skills.
  • Comply with all Miller Waste System and Provincial health and safety policies and procedures.

 

Competencies & Qualifications:

  • Successful candidates will be mechanically inclined and possess a strong work ethic.  
  • Should possess a strong desire to learn and an ability to apply that knowledge during their daily duties.  
  • Successful candidates will have a valid Class 3 Driver’s Licence.
  • You must be a team player with safe working habits and a clean driving record.
  • A physically fit lifestyle would be a benefit and previous waste industry experience would be considered an asset.
  • Flexibility is also required as this position occasionally requires travel, early starts, late finishes and, weekend work.
