Summary:

The People & Culture Coordinator provides timely, accurate, and confidential administrative and operational support to the People & Culture (P&C) team and employees across the organization. This role supports the day-to-day administration of P&C programs, policies, and processes, and works closely with the VP, P&C and P&C Business Partners to ensure effective execution of P&C initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

As a People & Culture Coordinator, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative and coordination support to the Vice President, P&C and P&C team leaders across a range of HR activities and projects.
  • Support P&C Business Partners in the delivery of HR programs, employee communications, and employee-related processes.
  • Respond to employee and management inquiries related to P&C programs, processes, and documentation.
  • Process employee reimbursements, allowances, invoices, and expenses in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare and distribute organizational announcements, memos, and employee communications.
  • Prepare employment-related documentation, maintain employee files, and ensure accurate and up-to-date record keeping.
  • Support HRIS (Ceridian Dayforce) administration, including employee data updates, transactions, and data integrity.
  • Provide administrative support related to bargaining unit matters, as required.
  • Liaise with government agencies and third-party providers, responding to requests and providing required documentation as needed.
  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and administration of P&C SOPs, forms, templates, and policies.
  • Assist with P&C projects, activity tracking, reporting, and KPI dashboard updates.
  • Perform other P&C-related duties and special projects as assigned.

 

Competencies & Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Working toward or interest in obtaining the CHRP designation is considered an asset.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a Human Resources coordinator or administrative role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems, preferably Ceridian Dayforce.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to company locations, as required.
  • A collaborative mindset with a proactive and service-oriented approach.
