Academy Fire Life Safety is seeking a District Relationship Specialist!

We are looking for driven, professional team members who excel at delivering exceptional customer service to our vendor, district, and client networks. If you’re motivated, a strong communicator, and eager to grow your career, we encourage you to apply!


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and dispatch monthly preventative maintenance work orders.
  • Manage district preventative maintenance work order volume throughout the month.
  • Update internal notes and inspection schedules.
  • Follow up on scheduled work orders to confirm completion or obtain status updates.
  • Prepare and submit updates to internal national account teams.
  • Identify and escalate issues related to districts or client locations to the appropriate national account teams.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with technicians, districts, and client locations.
  • Document and track district work order rejections; communicate trends to the District Relations Manager.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our internal vendor network.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of customer service experience.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to analyze data.
  • Strong relationship‑building ability.

This is an in‑office position located in Lynbrook, New York.

 

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.  MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
