About this role
Regions Cancer Center is seeking a scheduling specialist with strong organizational and customer service skills to join our team. This role secures necessary patient information relating to the scheduling and/or processing of surgical procedures in Gynecology Oncology. Schedules surgeries and performs required procedures including documentation. Complies with all applicable state and federal regulations. Coordinates information provided for business services functions including CPT-4 and ICD-10 coding. This position also participates in the broader Oncology department scheduling, reception, and checking in and out of patients.
0800-1700 Monday-Friday.
Weekend rotation approximately once every 12-14 weeks.

Sat - 0800-1200
Sun - 0800-1200
2 or more years related experience in a health care environment.

What you'll do
- The specialist schedules surgeries and processes necessary patient information for Gynecology Oncology procedures. They also coordinate information for business services functions and participate in broader scheduling and patient reception tasks.
