About this role

Regions Cancer Center is seeking a scheduling specialist with strong organizational and customer service skills to join our team.  This role secures necessary patient information relating to the scheduling and/or processing of surgical procedures in Gynecology Oncology. Schedules surgeries and performs required procedures including documentation. Complies with all applicable state and federal regulations. Coordinates information provided for business services functions including CPT-4 and ICD-10 coding. This position also participates in the broader Oncology department scheduling, reception, and checking in and out of patients.  

Work Schedule:

0800-1700 Monday-Friday.  

Weekend rotation approximately once every 12-14 weeks.

Weekend hours:
Sat - 0800-1200
Sun - 0800-1200

Required Qualifications:

2 or more years related experience in a health care environment.
