About this role

Job Overview

A Day In The Life

  • Operator will be required to assemble and/or disassemble parts into subassemblies or finished units, and to receive and stock parts and supplies.  Operator will be required to use hand tools, jigs, fixtures, machines, equipment, and other means to produce a good quality product.
  • Processes performed will be, but not limited to, assembling, drilling, pressing, testing, fitting, filing, and storing.
  • Operator may be required to make visual and manual inspections, check quality, assure alignment, position, tension, record production, record scrap, keep required production records, and other operations as required.
  • Operator will be required to set-up, operate and adjust machines and equipment as required.
  • Operator must have the ability to interpret drawings and routing sheets and perform SPC as required.
  • Operator will be required to furnish own hand tools.
  • Operator will be required to maintain machines, equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Operator must ensure that any hazardous waste generated must be properly packaged and labeled before removing from his/her area.

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Ability to sit and/or stand and perform repetitive work for a minimum of eight hours.
  • Ability to walk, hear, see and to have full use of both hands.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist and waist to floor.
  • Ability to climb steps.
  • Ability to lift in excess of 65 lbs.
  • These physical requirements are generalities and work may occasionally exceed the specified levels.
