This position will be based in Knightdale, North Carolina. A Day In The Life

As Electrical Testing Technician I you will be responsible for Validating the function and performance for our Engineered Electrical Solutions. The successful candidate will have experience in Electrical Systems, Switchgear operation/testing and validation. Experience with and understanding Electrical Schematics, PLC Ladder Logic, and Instrument Diagrams. Have experience of troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems while following appropriate Lockout/Tagout procedures. Able to inspect Electromechanical Equipment for cosmetic, electrical, and mechanical flaws and use PCX Non-conformance program to document and assist in correcting said flaws. Potential interface with customers, associates, and suppliers, so excellent communication skills are essential.

What will help you thrive in this role?

• 3-5 years’ work experience in an Electrical/Mechanical Systems environment or 1-2 years' experience & 2-year electrical degree • Minimum of 6 months’ experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting busbar assemblies, and transformers • Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints and specifications • Experience in the integration of electrical and mechanical systems for custom applications • Good working knowledge of NEC, UL, and ETL for low voltage applications • Strong interpersonal skills for developing and functioning in a team environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills • MS Office Software (Word, Excel, etc.)
