Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and hands‑on Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our facility. This role is responsible for coordinating daily maintenance activities, overseeing preventative maintenance programs, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the department. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent technical knowledge, a commitment to safety, and the ability to mentor and develop a high‑performing team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational uptime and supporting overall business goals.

A Day In The Life

Maintenance Leadership & Oversight

  • Supervise, schedule, and direct daily work activities of maintenance technicians.
  • Provide hands‑on support and guidance in troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members to enhance technical skills and safety awareness.


Equipment & Facility Maintenance

  • Oversee maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, systems, and facility infrastructure.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime.


Preventative & Predictive Maintenance

  • Manage and execute preventative maintenance (PM) programs to extend equipment life and reduce failures.
  • Use data and equipment history to identify recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions.


Safety, Compliance & Quality

  • Maintain compliance with applicable OSHA, facility, and environmental regulations.


Resource & Work Order Management

  • Prioritize and assign work orders, ensuring timely completion.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies; coordinate orders as needed.
  • Document maintenance activities accurately using CMMS or similar systems.


Continuous Improvement & Collaboration

  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to support production goals.


Budget & Vendor Management

  • Support development and management of the maintenance budget.

 

What will help you thrive in this role?

Skills and Experience

  • Strong technical capability including PLC knowledge
  • Along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Maximo Experience preferred in working with computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Prior experience in electrical construction, controls or solving problems.
  • Possess good troubleshooting skills.
  • Exhibit sound judgment and the ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Automation, or related preferred OR confirmed hands-on leadership and technical experience.
