Job Summary:

As Head of Product – Class, you will own and drive the product vision for Class within the broader Class & HUB24 ecosystem. You’ll lead and grow a team of Product Managers, champion customer‑led innovation, and deliver high‑impact solutions that solve real problems and elevate the customer experience.

Working closely with Product Leadership across Class and NowInfinity, you’ll shape product strategy, refine our product development framework, and ensure alignment with group‑wide goals. You’ll bring strong product leadership, commercial acumen, and a track record of scaling teams and launching market‑leading products.

Reporting to the General Manager, Product, this role is pivotal in maintaining Class’ position as a leader in delivering innovative, customer‑centric solutions.

Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and own the product vision for Class, delivering customer-centric experiences and a clear roadmap that aligns with the Group’s strategy & objectives.
  • Partner with Marketing to shape product positioning and value propositions that resonate with target segments.
  • Ensure strategy is well understood across teams, market insights are captured, and decisions are data-informed.
  • Lead the strategic planning and quarterly prioritisation of product capital spend against budget to maximise commercial impact

Build and lead the end-to-end product development

  • Develop and execute the product portfolio and deployment to market through working collaboratively with cross functional team members
  • Manage, measure and report on product delivery outcomes (quality, scope, budget) to stakeholders
  • Ensure overall product portfolio risks and dependencies are clearly managed and communicated

Drive commercial focus

  • Develop business cases based on industry and customer research, with a focus on data driven analysis to identify new market opportunities
  • Continuously refine and prioritise based on tangible value, balancing trade-offs across the portfolio to ensure deliver on commitments
  • Implement reporting and analytics to measure the success and progress of the product portfolio

Develop great talent and teams

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Provide coaching, clear direction, and growth opportunities to ensure team members reach their full potential.
  • Maximise efficiency, visibility, and decision-making by leveraging available product tools such as Productboard, Pendo or similar, and emerging technologies like AI.

Requirements:

  • Industry and domain knowledge across finance, accounting, or wealth management
  • 5+ experience in accounting public practice or administrator servicing the wealth management industry such as SMSF or Portfolio Management
  • CA/CPA qualifications are highly desirable.
  • 8+ years of experience working with a software development environment or B2B SaaS (software as a service) with 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
  • Exposure to product management and working with teams through a product strategy - research, ideation, prototyping, testing and execution.
  • Strong leadership experience in customer centred design and innovation
  • Leadership experience in communicating product vision at the executive level
  • Ability to influence through persuasive verbal and written communication
